How-to-install-and-configure-Nethserver-6.7-Dual-WAN-(PART2)


This article is the second part of Nethserver Configuration. Please check my first article on how to install and configure Nethserver-6.7.Check the below link for more details

In our first article we have configured interface as below:-

1. Interface eth0 :- 192.168.1.1      < = Local LAN IP
2. Interface eth1 :- 192.168.15.98  < = This my static WAN IP
3. Interface eth2 :- PPPoE              < = Second PPPoE WAN

Please change the above WAN IP with your real WAN IP provided by your ISP provider.

1. Now lets configure our interface eth1 :-

Login to the interface :- https://192.168.1.1:980



Goto=> Network => Edit eth1 => Configure the IP address
Select the Role = Internet (red)



Now lets try pinging the internet connection 




 So Now internet is working means NAT is working.

2. Lets configure the second interface eth2 :-

Goto => Network => Click on New Interface => Internet (red) => PPPoE

It will create a new logical interface with PPPoE connection 



Next Select Interface "eth2" and fill PPPoE details 



3.After the configuration is done then you have to enable the basic firewall for Multi WAN option :-

Goto => Software center => Select=>Basic firewall, Bandwidth monitor  =>  Click ADD button



After the installation is finished logout and login again 

4. Now select the Multi WAN option in left hand side 

Click on Configure and select the mode "Balance" and configure the email address for the notification




That's it you can configure more advance function as per your requirement. You can configure the load balancing of traffic and assign the priority.
