How-to-install-Fedora-24-Workstation

Introduction

The Fedora 24 Workstation release features GNOME 3.20, with many usability improvements such as easier input device and printer settings, a better search interface, shortcut windows for keyboard commands, and more convenient music controls.

Flatpak (Formerly xdg-app) is another building-block feature, with software able to track installed Flatpacks and adding more features in the future as the technology develops. The software app has also grown features to provide a full system upgrade directly from the desktop from one Fedora release to the next, and the ability to provide labelling as well as reviews of available software.

After downloading iso image create a bootable pendrive from suitable software.
1. rufus                                             Windows
2. Fedora Media Writer                     Linux
3. Unetbootin                                    Mac



1. Boot from bootable pendrive which you created :-


2. Select Start Fedora-Workstation-Live 24



3. Select Install to Hard Drive



4. Select "English (English United States)"



Some settings which is required to complete installation.
A. Keyboard = English (US)


B. Time & Date = Asia/Kolkata 


C. Installation Destination


After you have completed the above settings you can begin installation. The network interface can be configured later.

5. Click on Begin Installation :-



Enter the Root password and user details etc 

6. Wait for the installation to complete :-


7. That's it "Quit"  the installer and reboot your system.



Login with credential you entered during installation.
